In the past we would show a large image if shared on Hey.Café and would even render a video preview in a lot of cases if there was a video shared, but due to breaking API and site changes Twitter has made we cant provide this better interface and insted fall back to a normal link preview. We will if shared a /status/ link render a preview as best we can for now but this may also need to fall back to a link soon.

The last month we have been working on smaller background updates to fix backend services including removing the need for extra requests to be made in Chrome based browsers around headers.

Did you know in settings there is a section called ** about ** where you can enter in a large ammount of content to show on your profile as an about page? Well you can and the best part is now using that or your bio all users now have access to a new small sharable website that can be used to share a list of links or more.

It’s time to launch version 2.0 of Hey.Café in just a few hours. We have come so far since the first version and it looked nothing like it does now. Since we launched the site last year we slowly changed just about every aspect of the site and app, and now this week we launch a major batch of updates.

First item on the road map is done! You can now login to as many accounts on your computer or device as you want and can switch between them.

We are still making a lot of improvements but now thanks to the new blog system you can view the updates over on the Hey.Café blog domain.

WOW 🤯! It's done and working, the new search system is now live.

Quick update, we have updated the settings area to separate out profile settings and also make it easer to access and manage sessions and logins.
